Ahas from first few days in France...
This is a happy, contented me after my first full day of my creative residency at Chateau d'Orquevaux. 💖
We toured the chateau and went into town to shop for supplies.
I explored the grounds, made a leaf sculpture 🍁 (see photo below) and visited a few of the artists’ and writers' studio spaces.
I’ve been weepy on this trip, with emotions well up at a moment's notice.
Gratitude, joy, relief, pride, contentment.
I see now how many plates I’ve been spinning for too many years without a break.
I don’t think I realized that until I arrived.
Meandering along the streets of Paris..
Exploring fantastic exhibits at the Centre Pompiduo...
Being in this enchanted place, with the luxury of time to truly relax and fully immerse myself in whatever creative direction calls to me...
To write, dabble, walk the grounds, take photos...
To be taken care of by others with wonderful food and attentiveness...
To enjoy lingering conversations with creatives from around the world...
It's already been a life changing experience and it's only just begun.
It all feels as if the universe is hugging me and whispering in my ear, “It’s okay, love. We’ve got you. You can rest for now.”
Every time I transform another of my audacious creative dreams into a reality, the stronger my commitment becomes to help as many multi-passionate creative people as possible do the same!
