Are You Who You Really Want To Be?
This quote by George Bernard Shaw is one of my favorites because I truly believe your life itself is the most wonderful, complicated, satisfying, challenging, messiest and greatest creative endeavor you'll ever experience. And inspired by Shaw's words I'd like to share this gentle reminder ~It's up to you to create the life you desire and be the person you really want to be. (But you don't have to do it all alone.) You may be thinking, that all sounds well and good Jill,BUT...I'm too busy.I'm too afraid.I'm too stuck.I'm too tired.I'm too overwhelmed by my never-ending to-do list!Believe me, you're not alone! And I've been right there with you on every one of those same excuses at some point. The difference is now I have a treasure chest of tools and techniques I use to help myself (and my clients) move past the blocks of perfectionism, procrastination and overwhelm. And, more importantly, to experience the feeling of freedom that comes with focus, follow-through and fulfillment.Once I discovered creative coaching and began seeing my own life as a wonderful creative adventure I've enjoyed an endless array of amazing experiences ever since. (In-between the carpooling, laundry, bills, committee meetings, grocery shopping and dentist appointments that is.)And that's the most important thing to remember here:Your day-to-day life with all of its obligations, expectations and commitments isn't going anywhere. If you're waiting for those things to magically disappear you may never get to experience the joy and freedom of pursuing your creative projects and passions. That's why I want to I invite you to join me for my upcoming 6-week "Living The Creative Life" class. You'll learn and practice all of the unconventional, powerful creative coaching methods I use in my own life and with my 1-on-1 clients while dabbling and doodling with fun, low-pressure, hands-on creative projects. If you don't live in the Dallas area, or taking a class with me just isn't in the cards for you right now, I invite you to request a complimentary copy of my Permission To Be Creative 101 Guide to walk yourself through three simple steps and into 10 minutes of the creative joy. (If you already have a copy, you can print additional copies to use as often as you'd like!)Until next time, here's to being who you really want to be and living a creative life!Jill
