Leaving Your Creativity To Chance?
Thoughts go here. (photo: light on white board) September 7, 2020

I see potential in everything.
I’m a multi-passionate creative.
I walk into my studio to grab something, see light dancing on my white board, become enchanted by the wavy cloud-like patterns, run to find my phone, snap a photo or two, and then sit down to write about it.
15 minutes later I look up and think, “Why did I come in here?”
Sound familiar?
That’s the way our multi-passionate minds work sometimes.
Years ago I counted solely on moments like these...flashes of inspiration...random urges...to fuel my creative output.
I left it up to chance, to the whims of the muses and my moods.
I did not like the results.
I’d only sit down to play piano and write when I felt deeply inspired.
Sure, it felt good in the moment.
But the weeks in-between with no music or writing felt awful.
And, as you might guess, not much work was produced that way.
Then I learned how to harness my creative energy.
To have focus and follow-through.
To take consistent action rather than creating only when the spirit moved me.
Those shifts allowed me to…
Play piano, sing and write
Perform
Record my solo CD, Dancing In Limbo
Host my CD release as an event that raised over $10,000 for Women for Women International
Start my Creative Oasis Coaching business
Blog consistently for over a decade
Create and lead hundreds of classes, workshops, retreats
Coach people around the world
Create a life I love
That kind of creative output doesn’t happen when you rely on flashes of inspiration to get you there.
I’ve taken what I’ve learned, practiced and taught for more than a decade and distilled it into a 3-step process.
It will help you get clear on your desires and take consistent action to make them happen.
Bonus ~ it’s so doable it feels like magic!
Grab your copy of my Magic Action Planner here.
See how it feels to create with intention rather than on a whim.
To have clarity around your next steps.
Do it for your projects you haven't touched in weeks. (Months? Years?)
Do it for your multi-passionate mind.
Your creative spirit will thank you.
Shared with love, wavy cloud-like light on a white board and the belief the world will be a better place when you show up for your creative dreams. ~ Jill
