To Bloom Or Not To Bloom
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ― Anais Nin
This quote and the beautiful yellow blooms on my neighbor’s cactus plant made me think of my wonderful clients this morning.
When they first come to me for coaching, my clients are closed off to their full creative potential.
But, once we begin working together, they quickly start to open up.
Their creative spirits bloom.
What stops them from opening up to be the most authentic, fulfilled version of themselves?
* THEIR THOUGHTS
• I’m not good enough.
• I don’t have enough time/money/energy.
• I’m too unorganized.
• People won’t get what I’m trying to say.
• I should be able to do this on my own.
* THEIR PATTERNS
• Put everyone’s needs and wants ahead of my own.
• Start 5 projects at once ~ finish 0.
• Can’t decide where to begin ~ so I don’t.
• Jump ship when things get difficult.
• Hope I’ll get to my stuff later when I have more time, money, energy. (But later never comes.)
So what shifts when they choose to work with me?
* THEIR THOUGHTS
• I deserve this.
• I’m ready to make the time.
• I can’t do this alone.
• Asking for help is a good thing.
• I am ready to do what it takes to change!
* THEIR PATTERNS
• I choose to prioritize my own creativity.
• I’m ready to learn how to get out of my own way.
• I’m committed to finishing what I start.
• I’m going to make a choice and stick with it ~ even when it’s tough.
• I’m tired of waiting for the perfect time to start! (It never comes!)
The people who decide to work with me choose to not let their creativity close up and wither away.
They choose to say yes to their creative spirit and learn and practice delightfully, doable ways to help it bloom to its full potential.
They decide that the day has come when the risk to remain tight in a bud is more painful than the risk it will take to blossom.
Are you ready?
Then it’s time to book a Creative Oasis Clarity Call to learn how I can help.
.Shared with so much love, light and belief in your ability to bloom!
