Do You Want To Express Your True Self To The World?

blossomsocanyoumwomThis past week I attended a fabulous conference for entrepreneurs and then enjoyed a lovely visit with my best friend in Portland, Oregon. The spring flowers were in brilliant full bloom. I meandered through gorgeous neighborhoods soaking in their beauty, stopping every few feet to snap another photo.flowertrioOne bush in particular was covered with roses in various stages of bloom from tight buds, to emerging petals to fully opened blossoms. It brought to mind one of my favorite Oscar Wilde quotes ~ “A flower blossoms for its own joy.” To which I always like to add~ “So can you.”Mother Nature’s colorful springtime transformation reminds me of the journeys of the amazing women I coach. Women I’m privileged to support as they learn to express their true selves while allowing their creative lives to blossom and grow for their own personal joy and satisfaction.A flower doesn’t ask itself if it has enough time. It doesn’t question whether or not now is the right time. It doesn’t worry that it won’t be good enough. It doesn’t fear it will waste time. It doesn't fret over how it might look to others.A flower simply blooms into the full, bright, beautiful expression of itself it was born to be and shares its colorful self with the world.IMG_0628Are you ready to take a hint from Mother Nature and express your true self to the world?
