Your Creativity ~ A Force for Good in the World

comantra17lightshineLast weekend I saw "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and I keep thinking how much we need a hefty dose of the Light Side in our world right now.Perhaps that's why I talk about light so much. I truly believe we have the ability to turn our light on through our creativity and shine it into a world that so desperately needs it.It doesn't matter one iota what how you let your creativity shine.Whether you grow colorful veggies and create delicious meals that bring health to the world...Take photographs and capture moments that bring joy to the world...Write words and create stories that bring understanding to the world...Create colorful, intricate mosaic Santas that bring whimsy and delight to the world...Whatever creative experiences light you up, I invite you...I encourage you...I implore you to let your creative light shine, not only now, but throughout the year! mosaicsanta

One of my favorite things to witness when coaching someone is the amazing ripple effect that happens.Once creative productivity becomes an integral part of their lives the positive effects (better health, organization, balance, serenity, focus and follow-through) flow into all aspects of their lives from personal to work to home! (I've had the same experience myself.)When we allow ourselves to be creatively productive we enrich not only our own lives but also those around us, thereby adding much needed light to the world! Can I let you in on a little secret?I was feeling pretty out of sorts this morning before I began writing this post and creating the Creative Oasis Mantra above. And though the things that had me down have not magically disappeared, I'm now feeling a bit more hopeful and energized after giving myself permission to spend a little time creating. That means I'm going to be more patient mom, a more empathetic coach, a more pleasant human for the rest of the day. That's how this creative productivity thing works!Ready to let your creative light shine in 2016? I'd love to help you do just that! Will you do me a quick favor? Will you share one way you want to be more creatively productive next year and what you need most to help make that happen?I'm creating an new online course that will debut next year and I would love your input to help me deliver the most helpful one possible.Until next time, shine on!Jill
